WELCOME TO THE NO BS ZONE OF TEDDY JACOBSON


I have decided to do things some what different because I am usually over whelmed with phone calls and emails and personal health problems. I think it would be easier for me to write more often and write smaller commentaries as my typing is terrible and trying to type for 3 hours is too much for me. Let me say that I have no time to visit chat rooms and when I usually become aware of a thread its because some one has sent it to me. Its nothing for me to get 75 emails a day that require answers, so I do respond but I write very short responses. Its best for those that want to speak with me to call after 10 am central time.


I keep getting emails about trigger work. Its nothing that can be taught in a short period of time. It can not be taught via a phone call or thru the internet. IT CAN NOT BE DONE, REGARDLESS OF WHAT YOU THINK. Trying to teach some one to install a thumb safety thru the internet is way beyond my ability in order to do it right some one would have to be in front of me for a few hours. None of these things are easy. I am no educator.


I have turned down at least 50 major jobs in the past 3 weeks because my neck is so very bad. I will continue to do trigger work on a few specific models. I want you to know that Mr. Camp and I are winding down our project street gun and it has worked very well and the remainder of the kits are almost finished. The trigger pulls have been superb and it was done with out the frame in my presence. Not many people could do this and the best parts were used. Mr. Camp has fired his mil-spec a great many times and it never missed a beat with accuracy superb using the original barrel. A new magazine is available called "COP" published by FMG.

CZ-USA has purchased Dan Wesson Firearms.

Beretta has a new pistol named Px4 Storm and is available in 9mm and 40 caliber.

Kahr has a new pistol chambered in 45 acp.

SW has a new mini pistol called SW99OL.

HK 2000sk is there new mini pistol with the LEM trigger system.

CZ-USA has a new mini pistol called CZ 2075 Rami.

I will try and keep my commentaries condensed for now until I feel better. It will still give you a world of information. All of these commentaries will be of my own opinion and my personal viewpoint. I will still try and help those that seek me out and are sincere and play it straight with me. When I say trigger work can not be easily taught I am being very honest in telling you this. I have been doing this since the 70's. I can cut the hammer hooks of a 1911 hammer in 10 minutes by hand but its impossible to just walk some one thru this process in words on the phone. I do not leave a radius where the 90 degree angle is.

Thank you all for being patient with the delay of my commentaries. I am going to try and go to the NRA show April 16, 2005 and if I can get there at 11:00 am I will be at the Militec booth for an hour or two. My walking has become very limited.
