A new book by an FBI consultant on international terrorism says Osama bin Laden's al-Qaida terrorist network purchased 20 suitcase nuclear weapons from former KGB agents in 1998 for $30 million.

The book,
"Al Qaeda: Brotherhood of Terror," by Paul L. Williams, also says this deal was one of at least three in the last decade in which al-Qaida purchased small nuclear weapons or weapons-grade nuclear uranium.

Williams claims that al-Qaida has been planning a spectacular nuclear attack using six or seven suitcase nuclear bombs that would be detonated simulantaneously in U.S. cities.

What kind of damage could such a weapon do? The CIA estimates the Russian nuclear suitcases to have an explosive yield approaching 10 kilotons.

Though New York City would seem to be the No. 1 target of another attack by al-Qaida, Williams points out other U.S. cities have been mentioned in intercepted intelligence chatter.
Among those discussed: Boston, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Philadelphia, Miami, Washington and Rappahannock County, Va.

Intelligence sources all concur that a nuclear attack in the U.S. is imminent, Williams declared. The rationale for bin Laden's attack is spelled out in his 'letter to America,' he noted. The MS-13 street gang has helped smuggle suitcase nukes across the border from Mexico, said Williams, who added that he believes at least 20 nukes have already been positioned inside America. They are likely transported in led containers that make their detection difficult. If a 10-kiloton bomb went off in a city such as Los Angeles, it would take out at least a half-mile area. Following the impact, there'd be a 460 ft. tall fireball heated to 10 million degrees Celsius, which could rip through the city for miles.

Among the problems that have led to this situation, Williams named the porous borders that allow illegals to easily slip in to the U.S., the small percentage of freight that is checked on ships and planes, and the "radical" mosques within the U.S. that harbor and foster terrorism efforts.

New evidence suggests that Soviet agents could have concealed nuclear and biological weapons of mass destruction inside the United States and other Western countries.

Paris, July 9, 2005-
AP and UPI reported that the French government has raised its terror alert level from RUN to HIDE on their four level danger scale. The two higher French danger levels are Surrender and Collaborate. According to informed sources, the rise was precipitated by a fire yesterday which destroyed France's white flag factory, effectively paralyzing its military. In light of the recent attacks in London, it is widely anticipated that the terror alert will be elevated to the third level before the weekend..

I have decided to put up this commentary because I heard two very long interviews that were conducted with Paul Williams and I do honestly believe his credibility.

It is getting time to prepare now for what ever happens and I suggest that you make a list of things you will need to survive in hard times. I for one have discussed this topic for a very long time and I think you should start to get food and water and what ever supplies you need to sustain you.

It is out of our control, but check your stock of everything. Another city that was mentioned in the interview I heard was Houston, Tx. I assume its because of the large petroleum industry there. Also Las Vegas, NV.

I certainly hope that Mr. Williams is wrong but I think as per his conversation that it has all been verified by many of the intelligence agencies around the world.

Now is the time to get serious about those spare parts and springs and magazines you have been putting off as well as flashlights and batteries of all kinds. Buy some MRE's (meals ready to eat). Go to www.google.com Do a search on the very items that you are looking for. In my archives I have discussed all this before including where you can purchase anti radiation tablets www.ki4u.com ...

THE VERY THING OUR LEADERS HAVE FORGOTTEN IS THE LESSON OF WORLD WAR II, THERE CAN NEVER BE A NEGOTIATED PEACE UNLESS THERE IS A DEFINED LOSER.

We are all basically in the same boat. We have approximately 1.5 million in our military and it takes about 20 support troops to keep one soldier on the front line. The WEST has the will to fight to contain but they have lost the will to win as in WW II. The Chinese can raise an ARMY of 350 million in no time.

A Chinese military official says Beijing will use nuclear weapons against the U.S. if the Americans attack the Asian nation in a fight over Taiwan.

"If the Americans draw their missiles and position-guided ammunition on to the target zone on China's territory, I think we will have to respond with nuclear weapons," Zhu Chenghu, a major general in the People's Liberation Army, said at an official briefing, according to the Financial Times.

"In the end you care more about Los Angeles than you do about Taipei".

Al-Qaida has obtained at least 40 nuclear weapons from the former Soviet Union – including suitcase nukes, nuclear mines, artillery shells and even some missile warheads.

In addition to detonating its own nuclear weapons already planted in the U.S., military sources also say there is evidence to suggest al-Qaida is paying former Russian special forces Spetznaz to assist the terrorist group in locating nuclear weapons formerly concealed inside the U.S. by the Soviet Union during the Cold War.

The plans for the devastating nuclear attack on the U.S. have been under development for more than a decade.

Britain's MI5 has identified 32 spies of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service operating under full diplomatic cover from their London embassy...

former Israeli counterterrorism intelligence officer Juval Aviv predicted an attack in the U.S. within the next 90 days. Aviv believes the plan is to attack not one big city, like New York, but half-a-dozen smaller ones, including towns in the heartland.

Bush's overall job approval ratings remain as low as they have ever been since the AP-Ipsos poll was started in December 2003. The president's job approval was at 42 percent — essentially the same as last month.
