YOU MUST BE AWARE THAT WHEN TERROR STRIKES US, WHETHER IT BE FROM A NATURAL DISASTER OR FROM OUR DEDICATED ENEMIES YOU WILL BE ON YOUR OWN - YOU CAN NOT COUNT ON THE AUTHORITIES TO HELP OR SAVE YOU. I AM TRYING TO GIVE YOU GOOD ADVICE AND IF YOU DO NOT OWN A GUN AND AMMUNITION YOU WILL BECOME A VICTIM. YOU MUST PREPARE NOW...

FOR LOCAL PEOPLE THAT NEED HELP WITH A GARAGE DOOR, this following owner (RON JONES) helped me a great deal. www.totalgaragedoors.com
I wanted to give you some food for thought for the coming New Year. I have had advanced ideas for as long as I remember but sadly I never had the financial means of implementing all this. I live in a quiet world of reality where my thoughts are always ways to improve the inner workings of a handgun. I have always liked and owned rifles but my main goal is and always will be to improve the internals of most any handgun. I do not understand the people that refuse to own a handgun and are just waiting to become a victim as we enter this coming year of extreme chaos.
I have always admired some of the exterior work of very good machinist / Smiths that can do wonders with a frame and or slide like Chuck Rogers in Arizona. My cup of tea is in total reliability and internal refinement you will never see or even dream of. People call me all the time regarding the use of Ron Powers Jig and how many clicks they should use for their purpose. Even though I have these Jigs I never ever used his click method. I have always decided on my own angles and only use this excellent Powers Jig to cut straight lines in steel hammers and sear engagements. I have other Jigs I prefer that have been made for me.
I have my own way of doing everything but at this point in time I do not take in much work as my health declines I am very selective. My work is better now than ever but it is limited.
I decided to write about the very things that I would have liked to see incorporated into the handguns that are for Police and all types of Law Enforcement as well as the civillian market. I doubt very much that you will ever see any of the following but I am going to give you a great deal to think about. In past years I have been very friendly with some of the finest gun writers that ever lived and we discussed some of my ideas and one gun writer agreed that my ideas were far too advanced for this point in time. In the end it is just a dream, there are still some very good old time writers out there that understand where I am coming from. As for most EDITORS, no, as they are motivated by advertising money to keep their job.
1. For years I was hoping that caseless ammunition would become a reality for the civillian market and not just an experiment for the Military.
2. I wanted to see all semi auto pistol magazines with a digital read out that was visible from the rear so that the shooter has instant visibility to how many rounds were in his magazine.
3. I wanted to see the use of roller bearings in 1911 frames in order to make it easier for a women to rack the slide and this would have helped reliability. I have made drawings of this design many years ago.
4. I wanted to see an electronic semi auto where the ignition was activated by a solenoid and the trigger pull poundage was controlled by a screw type adjustment.
5. I wanted an electronic chamber indicator on the very back of the slide so that a colored LED would identify a chambered bullet. This would be operated by a tiny watch type battery in a module with an instant battery checker.
6. All Police handguns would have a kill switch and the Police officer would wear a remote module on his shirt so that if his handgun was taken away he could kill the weapon from 30 feet away using an infra red signal. I made drawings of this, but no one really cared.
7. This remote kill switch idea can be modified to fit most any handgun. The only down side is that the components are very small and must be crafted by electronic experts like the Japanese.
8. I designed a handgun years ago that used round rails and the thought behind this was that it would be far smoother than anything used today. It would not be cost effective as this is for someone that money is no object.
9. There are many ways to fire a handgun electronically and I have made many drawings through the years looking at various scenarios.
10. Having an electronic handgun it would be easy to install adjustments of all kinds to regulate the trigger let off as well as the initial take up.
11. A transponder or transmitter type unit can be installed on every handgun to keep track of it in case it is stolen.
12. Each handgun can be retrofitted to accept a tiny digital camera for Police as this would help all the justified shootings and the Police officer can be cleared instantly. The only thing would be a mini bracket on the frame of the handgun so the tiny camera can be installed at any time.
13. I always had an interest in a magnetic magazine release system that could be made adjustable to help feeding in all semi auto pistols as a low fitting magazine causes failures to feed.
14. Most all slide stops have always been too high, this can easily be corrected with a different design, no one seems to care.
15. Captive adjustable ball units installed in the area of the dust cover on a 1911 could easily correct the side to side play found on most pistols.
16. Guide rods cause a lot of problems in some semi auto pistols but if the guide rod heads were designed to incorporate a roller system it would function a whole lot better.
17. It would be easy to design an electronic chamber indicator for a revolver that would let you know if the next chamber to rotate had a cartridge in it.
18. Lets talk about existing products for a while. Why is it that no one has made Main Spring Housings out of exotic wood to match your exotic grips ?? They should be sold as a set.
19. I would like to see existing barrel bushings designed to incorporate tiny ball bearings and the slide would cycle much smoother. I have toyed with this design for years.
20. Many people sure like to use a laser on their handgun. If this laser would interface with smart bullets it would open an entire new world of accuracy.
21. When you look at thumb safeties that are on a 1911 pistol, you select the type of design you want. I have designed thumb safeties that have removeable paddles for different scenarios, such as for a target gun and a carry handgun.
22. Lets look at the raised type grip safeties, now I have designed grip safeties that have interchangeable raised adapters at different heights for different people.
23. Want a smooth hammer for a 1911 pistol, how about one that has a lubricated bronze bearing. The rotational arc would be smooth as glass.
24. Having owned and liked the Beretta 92f, I have spent hours figuring out how to accurize it without doing any machining. My intent is an ad on device that the owner can install.
I am going to stop now as I want to get some reaction to this type of commentary before I give you more ideas. I want to know if this type of commentary spurs your interest or am I waisting your time. I see no reason that we should not apply electronic engineering advances and adapt them to your handgun. Many of the gunsmithing tools and supplies and ideas are 50 years behind the times. How many gunsmiths are still keeping their metal polish in their refrigerator as they have been using the same product for 40 to 50 years.
There is a world of technology that can be applied from other industries to advance the art and state of firearms for civillian use. Instead the major companies are finding ways to cheapen their product so they can put more BENJAMIN FRANKLINS in their pocket. Just go to www.truthaboutparts.blogspot.com Look at how the gun manufacturers have advanced by cheapening most everything so they can charge you more, they are "NOT" giving you a better product. There has been a slight delay with me posting additional pictures because my associate has not been up to par, but it will correct itself in short order.
I will continue all my bloggers in your behalf and I will help you in your selection of what to purchase. But in the end only you can decide. I have always played it straight with everyone although I may not be liked because of my honesty and integrity and when those people have tried to BS and lie to me, they found out real quick it was over for them. If you need help in selecting anything in my area of expertise you can email me at tjacobson@houston.rr.com
Please keep your questions brief as I get a great deal of email.
Thankyou for coming to my world of reality.
I want to wish all of you a good New Year.

NUCLEAR WAR-FEAR
Reports: U.S. preparing military strike on Iran German press speculates dispatch of officials to Turkey, Pakistan meant to prepare allies

While the U.S. has always refused to take the military option off the table in dealing with Iran, the German press is reporting new developments that indicate the U.S. has gone from acknowledging the possibility of action against Tehran's suspected clandestine nuclear weapons program to preparing its allies for a strike.
According to Der Spiegel, the German daily, reports of a pending strike escalated following Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's recent statements that Israel should be wiped off the face of the map and his calls for Israelis to be relocated to Europe.
On Dec. 23, a journalist for the German news agency DDP, who is also an intelligence expert, cited "western security sources" in a report claiming CIA Director Porter Goss asked Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to provide full intelligence cooperation and exchange for a possible air strike on Iran's nuclear and military facilities.
Goss reportedly provided Turkey with three dossiers at the Dec. 12 meeting containing evidence Tehran is cooperating with the Islamic terror network al-Qaida, as well as information about the current status of Iran's weapons program. German security sources, it is reported, say Goss assured Erdogan Turkey would be alerted to any air strikes, should they occur, a few hours before they were launched.
Goss also gave the Turkish government the "green light" to strike the separatist Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in Iran if the U.S. proceeds.
The governments of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Oman and Pakistan were also informed in recent weeks that air strikes are a "possible option," but no timeline was provided
Ahmadinejad's anti-Semitic speeches and claim the Holocaust is a "myth," it is speculated, have cemented the view in Washington that Iran would not back down in a nuclear showdown and Tehran is simply trying to buy time by continuing its talks with the Europeans.
"I would be very surprised if the Americans, in the mid-term, didn't take advantage of the opportunity delivered by Tehran," said a high-ranking German military official. "The Americans have to attack Iran before the country can develop nuclear weapons. After that would be too late."
In the January 2005 New Yorker, journalist Seymour Hersh reported that clandestine American commando groups were already on the ground in Iran, marking likely targets – a report the Bush administration attempted to play down as containing inaccurate statements but did not dispute.
In recent weeks, the number of visits to Ankara by American and NATO security officials has increased significantly. The head of the FBI, NATO General Secretary Jaap De Hoop Scheffer and U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice have made stops in the Turkish capital.
Joining the speculation in the German press, the left-nationalist Turkish newspaper Cumhuriyet, though unable to discover the substance of their talks, noted the unusually long meeting Goss and Erdogan held with, "Now it's Iran's turn."
As reported by WorldNetDaily, Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has ordered his defense forces to plan for a pre-emptive strike on Iran's nuclear weapons facilities by the end of March – the time intelligence sources say Tehran will be able to begin producing nuclear weapons.

A senior Palestinian official says Palestinians share the sentiment of Iran's president that Israel should be "wiped off the map," or at the very least, moved to Europe.
The statement from Mahir al-Tahir, representative of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, was reported by the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting News Network.
In November, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad threatened to "wipe Israel off the map."
Then in December, he suggested European nations should give up some of their territory if they believed the World War II-era Holocaust took place, noting, "certain European countries would have the world go with their stand that Hitler killed millions of innocent Jews in furnaces and have passed laws punishing anyone who says anything to the contrary."
"Granting without accepting that the Holocaust did occur, our question to the Europeans is: 'If innocent Jews were indeed butchered by Hitler, why should Palestinians be made to pay the cost in order to seek redress for the occupiers of Jerusalem?'"
Ahmadinejad continued:
"If the killing of Jews in Europe is true and the Zionists are being supported because of this excuse, why should the Palestinian nation pay the price?"
"The Islamic world should give up its policy of passivity and deal with the Palestinian issue more actively," he said.
On Friday, al-Tahir of the PFLP stated Ahmadinejad's view is based on historical realities.

Delays in terror extradition?
Canadian Muslim groups lobby to block Khadr turnover

Sources in the Canadian Muslim community, mostly in Montreal and the greater Toronto area, are said to have contacted members of the governing Labor Party in an attempt to prevent, or at least prolong, the extradition of Abdullah Khadr to the U.S.
Abdullah Khadr Prime Minister Paul Martin stressed the matter is Canadian because Khadr is a Canadian citizen. Canadian officials downplayed the fact that Pakistani interrogators suspected Khadr of having been involved in a suicide bomb attack against Canadian troops in Afghanistan. This was done probably to avoid the need to arrest and interrogate Khadr who returned from a year’s detention in Pakistan and had spent two weeks at his family home before being arrested by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police on a U.S. extradition warrant.
Khadr belongs to what is described as “an al-Qaida family.” His father was killed during an al-Qaida operation in Afghanistan in 2003. All four Khadr brothers are suspected by the U.S. and by the Pakistani security service of being active members of al-Qaida. An intelligence source said Canada waited to see whether the U.S. or any other state wouldl decide to move against the 25-year-old in an obvious attempt to avoid confrontation with some Muslim elements in the country, especially in lieu of the upcoming elections.
Khadr was questioned by the Pakistani intelligence following his arrest there in 2004 after he was spotted driving around Islamabad. Soon after his return to Canada the 24-year-old was arrested in his family home in Toronto. U.S. diplomats in Ottawa have hinted that delays in the Khadr case would be regarded by the U.S. administration as a hostile move. According to intelligence sources quoted in Canada, Khadr planned to kill American soldiers and is believed to have spent time in al-Qaida and Taliban training camps.
Khadr was denied bail last week by Ontario Superior Court Justice Anne Molloy, who said he is a flight risk and could be aided by al-Qaida in escaping the jurisdiction. Last week, in the pre-extradition hearing, his grandmother broke down in tears repeatedly as a government lawyer pressed her to reveal anything she knew about allegations Khadr bought weapons for al-Qaida and plotted to kill Americans. Fatima Elsamnah, 66, wiped away tears as government prosecutors asked her routine questions about her ability to provide bail. Elsamnah said she would risk her $300,000 house if her grandson is released while an extradition hearing proceeds.
Khadr is wanted in the United States on an extradition warrant for charges of possession of a destructive device and conspiracy to murder American nationals outside the United States, which could result in a life sentence if convicted. Khadr is the eldest son of Egyptian-born Canadian Ahmed Said Khadr, an accused al-Qaida financier who was killed in a battle with Pakistani forces in 2003. Each of the other four Khadr siblings has been separately jailed and accused of links to terrorism. Younger brother Abdurahman Khadr quietly watched the hearing yesterday. He has called himself the “black sheep" of this notorious family. He was arrested as a suspected member of al-Qaida in November 2001. He was returned to Canada in October 2003.
Abdullah's younger brother – Omar – is the only Canadian to be held at the U.S. prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. He's accused of killing an American soldier. Maha Khadr, the mother, was born in Palestine, moved to Canada and then moved with her husband and six children to Afghanistan in the 1980s. Information from the Taliban released on Feb. 4, 2004, suggested Abdullah Khadr may have been the would-be suicide bomber who killed a Canadian soldier in Kabul in January 2004. In an interview with CBC News Feb. 25, 2004, he said, "If I was the suicide bomber, I wouldn't be doing this interview with you right now." Court documents say Khadr, who was arrested in Toronto on Dec. 17 on the request of U.S. authorities, is wanted in Massachusetts on charges of possession of a destructive device to further a crime of violence and conspiracy to murder Americans outside the United States.
He is accused of purchasing about $20,000 in mortar rounds, landmine materials, grenades and ammunition for AK-47s for al-Qaida terrorists in eastern Afghanistan. WorldNetDaily first reported exclusively that Omar Khadr, suspected of having direct ties to Osama bin Laden, was accused of killing a U.S. Special Forces medic. Omar Khadr was released from the prison for terrorism suspects at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, because the U.S. had no charges and believed he no longer was an intelligence asset.
