45 acp Street Guns

America has always had a love affair with the 45 acp cartridge. I know what it is to carry a full size 1911 Colt Government Model. Its not that easy especially if you are now a private person with a concealed handgun license. Trying to conceal a large frame pistol in Hot Climates is not very easy. You now have the opportunity to select one of the excellent smaller type 45 acp pistols such as the Glock 36, or the HK USP, and now Ruger makes a smaller carry type pistol in 45 acp. The Beretta Cougar is available in 45 acp also. When you use a smaller type 45 caliber pistol, you are far better off using a lighter weight bullet. Lets assume you have a 3 inch barrel, well that measurement includes the chamber so you only have 2 inches of rifling. You must find a bullet that uses a fast burning powder, other wise if you use a slow burning powder in a short barrel, most of your powder will be burning outside your barrel. Shoot your little 45 caliber pistol at night and you will see a wall of flame in front of your muzzle, this is all wasted energy.

You do not need a 1911 style pistol to go with a 45 caliber carry gun. I do not recommend using a 1911 style "SMALL SEMI AUTO", because the NON 1911 style handguns are more reliable in feeding and extraction. I see many 45 caliber 1911 pistols and see what people do to them, after 90 plus years they still do NOT know how to make the slide stop compress the detent pin in the plunger tube to prevent the ugly scar on the frame during reassembly of a small or large 1911 style pistol....(They will tell you to use and carry a pin punch to push in the pin to compress it in the plunger tube, (you need three hands for this procedure) so you can insert the slide stop. THIS IS BS.) These new messiahs in gunsmithing still do not get it.

AUTHORS PERSONAL NOTE: I am a kind and giving person when I detect SINCERITY, I am glad to help anyone. I demand LOYALTY. BUT when I detect I am being used or played like a fiddle so that a no name wannabbee can ride on my world wide reputation for self gratification for Benjamin Franklins and to become a some body from being a no body, I pull the plug instantly. I am to honest for this scenario. No intelligent country bombs their business partners, no good business man abuses or insults their customers, and I suggest they take a refresher course in business 101. YOU CAN NOT USE MY REPUTATION TO MAKE YOUR SELF A NAME, I WILL NOT ALLOW THAT TO HAPPEN IN MY LIFE TIME.

If you want to carry a small 45 caliber pistol, get a Glock 36 or an HK USP, they are well made, they work every time, they are accurate and you should use a 165 grain bullet with fast burning powder. You do not want to carry a 230 grain hardball bullet that travels at 650 Feet PER SECOND. You want to get to as close to 1000 FEET PER SECOND as possible. I recommend looking at Corbon, Triton, Proload, Speer, Federal, Winchester and Remington line of ammunition.

If you really want destructive power look at a MAGSAFE or GLASER bullet in 45 acp. Carry +P ammo in your carry pistol and be sure to seal your primers. These +P 45 caliber bullets in a good small 45 carry pistol using a light fast bullet as proved in the STRASBOURG TESTS can be a devastating man stopper providing you place the bullet in a vital area, ITS ALWAYS BULLET PLACEMENT, ALWAYS HAS BEEN. I believe in placing bullets in different vital areas to spread the trauma in order to stop a criminal attacker instantly.
