IN A WORLD OF COMPROMISE I WILL NOT. I have a critical eye that sees many things others do not. I come from a world that does not exist anymore as most all of you are taken with cosmetics and the BS you read on the forums and chat rooms. I have never been your typical "SMITH" - I do not use any major equipment, I have no machine shop, I do not use a milling machine or a lathe. I use my hands and custom jigs as I specialize in internal work only. Of course I like to see nice looking handguns and rifles but my interest lies in QUALITY in the internal action of over 100 different models of handguns.

I do not do a great deal of work at this point in time and I select the people I want to work for but I will still do trigger work for decent people that want the very best internal work that can be achieved. Most of the major shops employ younger people or retired Police and Military and they either pay them a low wage or they work on commision only. I would never have any part of a situation like that. I buy and use the very best products money can buy from other industries that are far superior than most gunsmithing supplies.

I am not interested in using a sub standard product that is a traditional gunsmithing procedure if I can go to aero space or automotive or dental or jewelry or industrial technology companies regardless of the cost. My good friend Bubba who is a machinist has been making my special tools and jigs for many years now. He has a brilliant mind at how to create things that the average machinist smith has never dreamed of. Bubba is not a gunsmith but he has a superb mind for creating tools that have never been made before that I use on your handguns. For example I have a tool that can bend the hand of a SW revolver to correct the indexing. Most smiths would not even know what this tool is even if they were to look at it.

When I see the internals of your handgun, I see machine marks and all the flaws that I want to eliminate, and that is not easy. I know how to change angles to give me what ever trigger pull that I want regardless of make or brand or model. The inside of a handgun is where its at, buying a gun for looks and cosmetics means nothing. A great many people keep telling me how they do not like the looks of a Glock and they no not like the feel of this same pistol. I see things very different as my carry Glock is like no other.

I have had my slide hard chromed in a matte finish by my friend Virgil Tripp and I have reworked the action and installed a New York Trigger Spring. I have also sprayed and baked a finish on the barrel after I polished the feed ramp and chamber and recut the crown to perfection using my nylon tools that Bubba made for me. On this particular Glock 19 barrel I used Cerakote, which is a ceramic finish and it is Titanium in color. I most often prefer to use a moly finish but on this 19, I used ceramics. It is a superb weapon and I installed a Jentra plastic fitted part to seal up the opening on the bottom of the grip.

I very seldom leave here but when I do this Glock 19 goes with me, there is not a scratch on it and I installed an X/S rear sight as designed by my friend Ashley Emerson and in the front I installed a steel Novak front sight and it came with a white dot which I painted fluorescent yellow. Internally it has a full length guide rod with a flat recoil spring made of chrome silicon alloy wire and mated guide rod that was purchased from Marc at www.ismi-gunsprings.com
The rating on the recoil spring is 2 lbs heavier than factory because all I use is either +P or +P+ ammunition. This is a street gun for social work only.

I never rely on any one handgun as well as any one tactical knife as well as any one tactical flash light. If I was not as careful as am I would have been in the ground long ago. I am concerned about every handgun I have ever worked on and I truly scrutinize every single part using magnifiers. In the case of a 1911 pistol after I cut the hammer and sear on my special jig I always check the engagement on a microscope. All my finishing work is done using micron size graded abrasives and I do all this in diminishing grades until I achieve a finish that I am comfortable with. Time is not important and the cost of supplies is not important. The only sad part at this time is that I do much less work. I will still take in street guns for honorable people.

I have always done a lot of revolver work and the very best small revolver made today is the Ruger SP101. I am not comparing it to the NAA mini revolvers as they are excellent and in a class by themselves. For those that think a factory armorer can refine a handgun as good as I can, they are sadly mistaken. I have made a career of refining handguns and these factory armorers can only spend so much time on your handgun or they could easily lose their job and if they were so good as people claim why haven't they gone in business for them selves and made the big time, answer is that its all BS. AN AMORORER IS AN ARMORER IS AN ARMORER, I AM AN ARTIST WITH METAL, WHICH IS DIRECTED TO INTERNAL WORK AND THAT IS WHY I HAVE HAD OVER 60 ARTICLES IN PRINT ABOUT MY WORK.

It makes me sick to see how the factories have reduced the quality of their handguns that are currently made. Just go to my other blogger www.truthaboutparts.blogspot.com
and see what you are getting and paying top dollar for. Not much to be said for these factory armorers, go there and see for your self. If I put out work like that I would have been out of business 25 years ago. How can you ever believe publications when they survive on advertising money. One of the reasons that some magazines keep featuring the same companies and Smiths in there articles is the advertising money. If you do not advertise you are fighting a losing battle in trying to get an article written about your product and or your work. ITS ALL BS.

I believe in using the very best parts and springs money can buy. Even in my own AR15 I have installed Chrome Silicon springs that are superior. When I buy a knife if I can not buy quality I would rather not buy anything. I now carry the new Cold Steel "BLACK TALON" which is very high dollar, it has a blade made out of Lynn Thompsons SAN MAI steel and it does not get any better than this. In order to maintain an edge on a knife blade if the blade has not been tempered correctly it will not hold an edge. Heat treating is critical and Cold Steel uses a freezing method also to temper each blade. You must have different style knives for different purposes.

I do like the Springfield Armory "XD" pistol but my concern is parts availability and changing the extractor. I am concerned that the models I have seen had no steel inserts in the rear portion of the rails. If you take the spring out of the grip safety area you will have misery re installing it. All in all I think this croation pistol has a great deal of potential, but in my case I will stay with my Glock or my HK P7 M8.

For those of you that need a good handgun I still suggest you find a MAKAROV. They are still the very best buy in America and I regret not having bought an East German Makarov many years ago. For those that are trying to buy hard to find guns in hard to find calibers like the 9x23 you are waisting your time as hard times are coming and you will not be able to find ammunition very easily for this caliber. suggest you get real and realize we are on a runaway train in a world gone mad. I wish it were not so but "IT IS WHAT IT IS" - I can not change a thing except keep my Bible handy and seal my primers.

INTERNAL SECURITY
Saudi student invasion
25,000 U.S. visas planned over next 5 years

More than 10,000 students from Osama bin Laden’s homeland are attending U.S. colleges and universities this year, thanks to an agreement between President Bush and Crown Prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz.

Crown Prince Abdullah While U.S. universities welcome the Saudis – especially because Riyadh is paying 100 percent of their tuition and enrollment costs – some see potential security problems associated with the tremendous influx of Muslim students from a closed society that virtually invented Wahhabism, the radical brand of Islamism that spawned al-Qaida. Because of the agreement, as many as 25,000 Saudi students are expected to arrive over the next five years, with all their bills paid by the Saudi government.

Following the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, the U.S. clamped down on foreign student visas. Currently there are 15,000 Saudi applicants for U.S. university undergraduate degrees. The scholarship program is unrolling quietly, without announcement from the Saudi Embassy or the White House. The White House Press Office has declined to comment on the program and Saudi embassy officials did not return calls inquiring about the program. But it’s a cause of major celebration in Saudi Arabia, however. The agreement came during Abdullah's April 25 visit to Bush's Crawford, Texas, ranch.

The Bush family and the Saudi royal family have long ties. A State Department greased the skids to make student visas a priority so that Saudi students can complete the required visa interview faster and avoid delays that have slowed the system since the 9-11 attacks. International students bring more than $13 billion into the U.S. economy, according to the Department of Commerce, which ranks higher education as the nation's fifth-largest service sector export. After 9-11, the Department of Homeland Security created a database to track foreign college students studying on U.S. campuses.

But there is still no automated system to ensure that students who complete their education leave the country within the required 60 days. There also are not enough compliance officers to track down all the leads that the database, and similar databases that track visas of other travelers, generate, a recent government study found. Visitors who overstay their visa, as opposed to immigrants sneaking across a border, amount to 33 percent to 50 percent of the country's estimated 11 million illegal aliens. Of concern to the skeptics is the fact that Saudi Arabia still teaches its students to hate non-Muslims and the West.

In addition, they recall that the 15 visiting Saudi nationals involved in the Sept. 11 attack studied at flight schools in the U.S. Even the State Department's new counterterrorism chief notes that Saudi textbooks still teach kids to hate Jews and Christians and still promote jihad against the West. "They still have a long way to go," Henry Crumpton, a former senior CIA official, told the House International Relations Subcommittee on International Terrorism and Nonproliferation. The Saudi Ministry of Higher Education -- the same Saudi agency sponsoring the new wave of Saudi students to hit American shores -- runs an institute in Washington that is under investigation for its ties to terror suspects and publication of jihadist literature.

In addition to Saudi students being imported into American colleges and universities, Saudi money is another big import. On Dec. 12, Harvard and Georgetown Universities each accepted a $20 million donation from Saudi Prince al-Waleed bin Talal bin Abdulaziz. One of his stated goals is to improve America’s view of Islam. Some have pointed out the irony of U.S. universities that seek to restrict military recruiting on campus because of the Pentagon’s "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy toward homosexuals while accepting large donations officials of a regime that beheads homosexuals.

It is also worth nothing, they say, that Saudi Arabia forbids the practice of any other religion but Sunni Islam.

NEW WORLD DISORDER
In bed with terrorists
When ‘the Snake’ came to Washington

Perhaps one of the main reasons why Russian President Vladimir Putin wasn’t too worried about reactions to his invitation for the leaders of Hamas to come to Moscow was the fact that he could point to at least two recent instances of a political figure with a terrorist background being invited to major Western capitals.

Hashim Thaci Hashim Thaci, also known as “the Snake,” wartime leader of the Kosovo Albanian terrorist group KLA, and now leader of UN-administered Kosovo’s second largest party, the Democratic Party of Kosovo or PDK, visited Washington Jan. 13, when he was received by U.S. Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs Nicholas Burns to “discuss the situation in Kosovo, including the status talks,” according to a State Department spokesman. Even more interesting was Thaci’s visit to Berlin in the first week of February, at the invitation of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation run by the German Social-Democratic Party or SPD, the second largest in Germany.

The details of his program were confidential, but it was confirmed that Thaci had meetings in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the German Parliament in connection with “planning projects in Kosovo” according to an item in the Junge Welt daily. The last such “successful project” in Kosovo took place March 17-19, 2004, when coordinated Albanian mobs numbering more than 50,000 looted and burned several Serb towns and villages, destroying several Christian Orthodox churches and resulting in the deaths of more than 20 people and hundreds of injuries, with only an emergency deployment of U.S. troops preventing far worse carnage.

Subsequent intelligence data, causing a small-scale scandal on the German political scene, showed that the German contingent in Kosovo had “advance warning” of the coming attacks but did nothing to prevent them. The New York Times reported during 1999 that Thaci was responsible for the killings of several rival commanders within the KLA. According to a dossier of the German BND intelligence agency, “Thaci … gives orders to the professional killer Afrimi,” who has carried out at least 11 assassinations in Kosovo.

Junge Welt reports that at the end of January, Thaci also participated at a Socialist International Conference in Athens, where his PDK is bidding for membership in that global socialist umbrella organization, “obviously under German tutorship.” According to a U.S. Senate Republican Policy Committee Report of March 31, 1999, the KLA was closely involved with:

• The extensive Albanian crime network that extends throughout Europe and into North America, including allegations that a major portion of the KLA finances are derived from that network, mainly proceeds from drug trafficking; and

• Terrorist organizations motivated by the ideology of radical Islam, including assets of Iran and of the notorious Osama bin Laden. Nevertheless, NATO entered an alliance with the KLA at that time, forged by Clinton administration figures Madeleine Albright and Richard Holbrooke, during the bombing of Yugoslavia, looking to depose its president, Slobodan Milosevic. Western diplomatic sources fear that a repeat of the March 2004 events is being prepared as a “contingency option,” of radical Albanian circles, in case U.N.-sponsored talks on Kosovo’s final status don’t head in the direction of giving the province full independence and secession from Serbia.

Staged violence may also be used to “push the talks in the right direction” according to these sources, as a sign that the Kosovo Albanians “are becoming impatient with their unresolved status.” Kosovo’s Islamic extremists have learned that the way to extract concessions from the West is not in being constructive but destructive.

Thus, one of the main goals in nurturing the relationship with Thaci is to minimize the potential damage to Western interests in what many expect will be a year of renewed turmoil in Kosovo. -- G2B contributor Aleksandar Pavic

Mad Mullahs Issue Fatwa to Use Nuclear WeaponsUS Prepares Military Blitz Against Iran's Nuclear Sites

February 21, 2006© 2006

WorldNetDaily.com

An Iranian fatwa (holy edict) permitting the use of nuclear weapons has been issued for the first time. Mohsen Gharavian, a disciple of Ayatollah Mesbah Yazdi, has stated that using nuclear weapons as a counter-measure is acceptable in terms of sharia (Islamic law), depending upon the goal for which the weapons are used.Up until now, the religious leaders of the Islamic Republic of Iran have publicly declared that the use of nuclear weapons are opposed to sharia, maintaining this position to buttress the argument that Iran's nuclear program is for peaceful purposes only.

Gharavian, a lecturer at the religious schools of Qom, stated that:One must say that when the entire world is armed with nuclear weapons, it is only natural that, as a counter-measure, it is necessary to be able to use these weapons. However, what is important is the goal they may be used for. With Iran's President Ahmadinejad openly declaring that Israel must be wiped from the map of the Middle East, we are compelled to ask if Gharavian would consider killing Israeli Jews to be a purpose that sharia would consider acceptable for the use of nuclear weapons? This fatwa marks a clear signal that the ultra-conservative spiritual leaders in Iran are in full control.

Gharavian's statement takes additional importance because he is a disciple of Ayatollah Yazdi, who is also the spiritual mentor of Ahmadinejad. The Jamkaran Mosque in Qom was also the center from which Ayatollah Khomeini based his opposition to the Pahlavi dynasty before he was forced to leave Iran in exile. Devout Shiites believe that the Mahdi, the famous "lost Twelfth Iman," disappeared as a young boy down a well that is now revered within the Jamkaran Mosque.

Ayatollah Yazdi and President Ahmadinejad both profess that the Mahdi will emerge from that same well in his Second Coming, but only following an apocalypse in which the world will go through great calamities and upheavals. In September 2005, when he addressed the United Nations General Assembly, Ahmadinejad mentioned the Mahdi in describing what he considered to be his divinely appointed political mission as president of Iran.Gharavian's fatwa was published by the IraNews news agency, suggesting that the statement had the official blessing of the Iranian regime. Iran has openly defied the world diplomatic community by deciding unilaterally to resume uranium processing at Isfahan and uranium enriching at Natanz.

Now, the Mesbah Yazdi group has given the first public statement that the use of nuclear weapons is authorized on religious grounds, a further defiant step on the road toward Iran's open proclamation that the regime is pursuing nuclear weapons, not simply the peaceful use of nuclear power. The signs that the radical fundamentalists have regained control of Iran's revolution are abundant. In recent weeks, Ahmadinejad has traveled to Damascus to give Syrian President Bashar Assad his support in the international controversy over Sryian complicity in the assassination of Lebanon's former Prime Minister Hariri. Last summer, before taking over the presidency, Ahmadinejad met in Tehran with Seyed Hassan Nasrollah, the Lebanese leader of the radical terrorist group Hezbollah. In January this year, Moqtada al-Sadr, the young Iraqi Shiite radical cleric whose "Al-Mahdi Army" engaged in acts of terrorism in April 2004 against U.S. troops in Iraq, visited Tehran and swore to support Iran if the United States or Israel should attack Iran. Hamas member Muhammad Jamal al-Natshah, who was elected to the Palestinian legislature in late January, after being released from Israeli prison, declared that Iran would provide financial support to Hamas if Israel should cut off funds.

Iran is also rushing to conclude with China a $100 billion deal that will allow a Chinese government-controlled oil company to develop the vast oil and natural-gas holdings in Iran's Yadavaran field. The goal is to complete the deal before a U.S.-led motion might cause the Security Council to consider imposing additional sanctions on Iran for violations in their nuclear program.Iran will hold in euros foreign currency reserves from the sale of oil and natural gas to China. With China's increasing dependency upon Iran for energy resources, the Iranians have suggested that China should diversify into euros a greater portion of their nearly $1 trillion in foreign currency reserves.

With approximately 75 percent of China's foreign currency reserves currently held in dollars, a move by the Chinese to the euro could depress the value of the dollar, making more costly the U.S. Treasury's need to sell massive debt into the international markets to maintain our large and growing twin trade and budget deficits. Now, ahead of the International Atomic Energy Agency's scheduled March 6 meeting in Vienna to vote on referring Iran to the Security Council, the IAEA head Mohamed ElBaradei has suggested that Iran might be permitted to enrich a small quantity of uranium for "research and development" purposes. ElBaradei has told diplomats recently that a pilot enrichment program at Natanz is Iran's bottom-line, "a reality" the world may have to learn to live with.

With this statement, the prospect looms that Iran may once again have won the negotiating game of chess, by winning the concession of even the IAEA that Natanz and Isfahan can continue operating.Even should the IAEA vote to send the Iranian portfolio to the Security Council, Russia and China appear ready to veto any meaningful sanctions. In the next few weeks, we will most likely see the United States forced to admit that the Bush administration strategy since the second inauguration of allowing the IAEA and the E.U.-3 to lead negotiations with Iran may simply amount to a waste of time.Iran has also begun suggesting that the Russian proposal to enrich uranium on Russian soil, possibly with the assistance of an international consortium pledging to provide enriched uranium to Iran will be acceptable, as long as Iran can also continue enriching uranium on Iranian soil.

What reason does the world community have to believe that Iran will only enrich a small amount of uranium when Iran has consistently violated agreements with the IAEA?With Iran and Hamas both declaring that Israel has no legitimate reason to survive and with diplomacy failing to contain the Iranian nuclear program, increasingly the military option is the only option left with any promise of stopping Iran from having nuclear weapons that the mullahs now declare can be used in accordance with Islamic law. What more do we need to see before we conclude that Israel and America are inevitably headed to war with Iran?
